Crushing, screening and service go hand and hand. A quarry manager in the US once told me “Everything in this plant is trying to break down. It’s my job to stop that from happening”.
This quote has always stuck with me and rings true in the environment we work in. Nothing is harder than crushing rock and it takes good preventative maintenance, high quality equipment and parts to ensure continuous operation.
That’s why at MIMICO we place so much importance on parts and service.
We constantly strive to improve our service team with manufacture-based training. Our manufactures have a great portfolio of training to ensure our staff are certified and capable to delivering world class service and support.
At MIMICO we also have an active apprenticeship program with three crushing and screen service technicians in various stages of their apprentices. In our industry it is hard to attract qualified staff. By actively recruiting new apprentices we have been able to grow our team and increase our level of support to the industry.
With a broad range of knowledge, we are also able to supply parts and service for many makes and models of crusher. For non-OEM crushers MIMICO can source parts from a range of reputable suppliers.
We also ensure the knowledge we have is shared with our customer base by providing onsite as well as classroom-based training. After a bit of a hiatus, we have again started providing our popular crusher operation and maintenance schools with our first customer school completed and another scheduled for a customer in the New Year.
As we wind down toward the end of the year, we all look forward to another challenging and rewarding 2024.
