Robust HRC™ high pressure grinding rolls
High Pressure Grinding Rolls (HPGR) serve to reduce the size of rocks and ores by compressing the feed material between two rollers. One roller remains fixed while the other rotates, exerting immense pressure on the material. This pressure facilitates the grinding process, resulting in the desired smaller grain size.
Metso’s HPGR, branded as HRC™, is renowned for its efficiency. Available in various sizes, these rolls cater to diverse application and process requirements.
INCREASED THROUGHPUT
HRC™ offers a significant boost in throughput, thanks to its flange design which optimises material crushing by drawing the feed into the crushing zone. This approach effectively prevents material from bypassing the rollers, enhancing efficiency and throughput.
In contrast, the patented arch-frame eliminates downtime resulting from skewing.
Moreover, users have the flexibility to adjust the speed and pressure of HRC™ based on material conditions and application needs.
