The UNIC URW706-2 mini spider crane is a compact crawler crane designed for lifting operations where both lifting power and extended reach are required in restricted access environments. With a lifting capacity of up to 6 tonnes and a maximum working radius of approximately 18.6 metres, the crane provides strong lifting capability while maintaining a compact footprint suitable for confined job sites.
Its hydraulic telescopic boom allows the crane to achieve a maximum hook height of approximately 19.5 metres, making it suitable for glazing installation, structural steel placement and maintenance lifting where precision and reach are required. An optional hydraulic fly jib further increases lifting versatility for specialised lifting tasks.
The crawler undercarriage allows the spider crane to travel across uneven terrain while maintaining stability during lifting operations. Remote control operation allows the operator to maintain full visibility of the load while safely controlling crane functions.
