What is a blending plant used for?
Blending plants combine aggregates, sand, cement, lime or other binders to a set ratio to produce road base, stabilised material, backfill and specified mixes on site.

Blender or pugmill?
A blender combines materials at high throughput where intensive mixing is not needed. A pugmill mixes more thoroughly and controls moisture, which suits cement and lime stabilisation.
