MIMICO delivered a custom tractor unit crane truck build for Lion Crane Trucks, designed and assembled by the Matamata Engineering team.
The project involved integrating a HMF7020 K7 crane and FJ1400 K6 fly jib onto a Hino 700 FY1E 8×4 truck platform to create a versatile lifting and transport unit suited to demanding operational requirements.
The crane truck build included:
• HMF7020 K7 crane
• FJ1400 K6 fly jib
• Hino 700 FY1E 8×4 truck platform
MIMICO’s Matamata Engineering Design team completed the structural and installation design work, with fabrication and assembly carried out in-house by the Matamata Engineering team.
The project required detailed engineering to integrate the crane system, fly jib and truck chassis while maintaining operational functionality and compliance requirements.
