Since 1950, Isaac Construction has played a major role in building South Island infrastructure, delivering high-quality civil works while maintaining a strong environmental focus. Their Christchurch quarry produces a wide range of aggregates including concrete sand, asphalt, roading materials, drainage metal, stabilised products, and topsoil.
Following the Christchurch earthquakes in 2014, significant demand arose for additional construction materials to support the city’s rebuild. To meet this demand, Isaac Construction commissioned MIMICO Engineering to deliver a major static plant expansion.
The project was carefully staged into four phases, allowing Isaac to gain additional production capacity at the completion of each stage while the overall plant build continued.
