We have ended November with the very sad news that a member of the MIMICO family, Gordon Urquhart, has finally lost his 5+ year battle with cancer, passing away on Wednesday November 25.
Gordon was MIMICO’s Branch Manager for Paraparaumu and managed sales across Gisborne, Hawkes Bay and the Manawatu. He was a remarkable gentleman who wouldn’t consider stopping working right up until the end. When it comes to work ethic he was an absolute legend, and his passion for Kobelco excavators was simply incredible.
The MIMICO team is devastated by this loss. Our thoughts and love are with Gordon’s family. We know Gordon’s customers will also be very saddened to hear this news.
Gordon’s funeral will be held at the Napier Sailing Club, 63 West Quay, Ahuriri, Napier 4110 on Monday November 30 at 1pm. We expect a number of MIMICO employees will attend Gordon’s funeral so ask for your patience during this time.
