About the Customer
Winstone Aggregates is a leader in aggregate products and services in New Zealand, operating eleven extractive quarries, two Joint Venture quarries with partners, four clean fills, six labs and a fleet of 80 bulk trucks. They are a trusted aggregates solution partner for the concrete, roading, rail, and other infrastructure industries.
Problem
Winstone Aggregates needed to upgrade the equipment at their Otaika Quarry.
Solution
This need led Winstone Aggregates to purchase a Metso C106 Jaw crusher and Metso TK11-42-2V grizzly feeder from MIMICO to maximise the output of their current plant.
To minimise the installation costs MIMICO Engineering designed a new sub-frame to accept the existing feeder mounts and the new mounting requirements for the Metso C106 jaw crusher.
This sub-frame was adapted to the existing frame in order to utilise the current subsidiary equipment such a chutes and conveyors.

MIMICO had the experience and expertise to complete the job to the expected levels. As the New Zealand distributor of Metso’s crushing and screening equipment, we were able to supply Winstone Aggregates with world class crushing and screening equipment.
