Concrete Aggregate and Sealing Chip Plant

As a result of the Christchurch Earthquakes and the unprecedented need for the supply of aggregates the decision was hastened and MIMICO was awarded the project to manufacture and supply a full plant solution.

With MIMICO being the Metso distributor for New Zealand and subsequent access to Metso’s world class equipment, wear protection solutions and processing knowledge helped MIMICO to secure the plant build. The project was delivered by MIMICO Engineering in four stages giving the benefit of a set of deliverables at the completion of each stage.

Stage 1 – Sand and Concrete Aggregate Plant
Equipment – (2) Metso TK12-26 Feeders, Metso CVB2060-3P Screen, Metso CVB2060-3 Wash Screen, Krebs Cyclones, and associated structures and conveyors.

Stage 2 – Primary Crushing Circuit and Radial Stacking Conveyor
Equipment – Metso GP100S cone crusher and MIMICO Engineering 45m Radial Stacking Conveyor, and associated structures and conveyors.

Stage 3 – Secondary Crushing Circuit and Cone PAP production
Equipment – Surge Tunnel, Metso TK11-15 Feeder, Metso GP220 cone crusher and Metso CVB2060-3 PAP Screen, and associated structures and conveyors.

Stage 4 – Tertiary Crushing Circuit, Barmac PAP production and Sealing Chip Screens
Equipment – Metso Barmac B6150SE VSI Crusher, Metso CVB2060-2 PAP Screen, Metso CVB1540-3 Wash Screen, Metso CVB1540-2 Sizing Screen, and associated structures and conveyors.
