POWERFUL AND EFFICIENT ENGINE
The CX490C is powered by a Tier III-certified Isuzu engine, offering exceptional performance with high-pressure common rail fuel injection and turbocharging. The engine combines power with fuel efficiency, delivering up to 8% improved fuel economy, making it ideal for intensive applications such as mining and large-scale earthmoving.
ADVANCED HYDRAULIC CONTROL
The CX490C features CASE’s Intelligent Hydraulic System (CIHS), which provides smooth operation and energy savings across all functions. The machine is equipped with five Energy Saving Controls:
- Torque Control: Electronically adjusts hydraulic oil flow to prevent engine overload.
- Boom Economy Control (BEC): Enhances fuel efficiency during boom lowering and swing actions.
- Swing Relief Control (SRC): Optimises hydraulic power for slewing operations.
- Spool Stroke Control (SSC): Automatically adjusts pressure during digging and leveling.
- Auto Idle and Idle Shutdown: Reduces fuel consumption by lowering engine RPM during idle periods.
