Metso has expanded its mobile crushing and screening solutions offering for the aggregates industry with an extensive new product portfolio – the Metso Nordtrack product line.
The first Metso Nordtrack, a Nordtrack I908S impact crusher, has arrived at MIMICO’s Matamata facility. MIMICO distributes Metso’s range of mobile and fixed crushing and screening equipment, parts and service in New Zealand.
The new Metso Nordtrack range introduces 19 products designed to meet the requirements of recycling, demolition and small-scale aggregate operations. The Nordtrack product family contains purpose-designed and field-proven features for general contractors and small- to medium-capacity aggregate producers. The Nordtrack range includes track-mounted crushers and screens as well as track-mounted and wheel-mounted stacker conveyors ideal for recycling, demolition and small quarries.
“Our target is to create a comprehensive end-to-end offering to serve diverse customer needs,” says Renaud Lapointe, SVP, Business and Product Management of Aggregates Equipment at Metso. “Metso has traditionally been exceptionally strong in the most demanding aggregates applications, such as hard rock.
“Our new Metso Nordtrack range complements our offering to better address the needs of small and midsized companies and general contractors looking for the right combination of productivity, availability and dependability at an attractive price point.”
Garth Taylor, Crushing and Screening Manager at MIMICO, said: “The Nordtrack product range offers some interesting models that will help complement the wide Metso Lokotrack range. We are looking forward to having a competitive product offering to cater for small and midsized quarries and general contractors in New Zealand.
“The Metso Nordtrack I908S provides a powerful impact crusher and screen plant in an easily transportable 27.5-ton package,” explains Taylor. “Quick set up time and compact dimensions make this unit ideal for recycling, general contractors and small quarries.
“The I908S incorporates many interesting features. These include the fuel-efficient Volvo engine, standard water spray system for dust suppression, a simple hydraulic setting adjustment using shims, adjustable impactor curtain to allow adjustment from primary to secondary application and a 180-degree radial recirculating conveyor.”
The Metso Nordtrack mobile product portfolio is designed to make the contracting business more productive. With standard designs for off-the-shelf availability, plug-and-play features and extensive Metso support network, Metso’s Nordtrack solutions are ideal for a variety of applications, such as recycling, demolition, and the processing of sand and gravel. The new range consists of 19 mobile machines, including jaw crushers, impact crushers, screens and conveyors.
The new Metso Nordtrack product range is now available globally through Metso’s sales and distributor network, including MIMICO for the New Zealand market as well as parts of the South Pacific.
The Nordtrack range was launched during Metso’s global Distributor Days in October 2019 and is being introduced to global audiences at the CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2020 tradeshow in Las Vegas, USA from March 10-14, 2020.
