The Lokotrack LT200HPX is available in this country from MIMICO, the New Zealand distributor of Metso Outotec’s range of mobile and static crushing and screening equipment. This exciting new model will be on display at the 2022 edition of QuarryNZ, which is set for July 13 to 15 in New Plymouth.
The LT200HPX is a compact yet efficient unit, designed for secondary and tertiary hard rock crushing in a two or three stage crushing process. It is equipped with a 2-deck pre-screen, which allows the machine to offer up to 30% more capacity and added flexibility compared with earlier models.
A heavy-duty chassis and wide conveyors facilitate high throughput, and the direct v-belt crusher drive ensures high fuel efficiency. Service and transportation is made easy with extensive service platforms that fold down for transport.
“The LT200HPX is perfect for producing aggregates for road construction and railroad ballast, as well as asphalt and concrete fractions,” explains Garth Taylor, MIMICO’s Crushing & Screening Business Manager.
“For high-capacity aggregate production, we recommended the LT200HPX be combined with other Lokotrack units, such as a LT106 or LT116 jaw crusher and a ST2.8, ST3.8 or ST4.8 mobile screen. It can also be used as a standalone unit and fed with an excavator or wheel loader.”
Proven reliability and high capacity in contracting
The Lokotrack LT200HPX features the efficient Nordberg HP200 cone crusher unit, which is designed for high productivity, low operating and wear costs and long service life, providing superior end-product quality. Over the years Nordberg HP series cone crushers have become the most popular modern cone crusher around the globe, with over 10,000 machines sold globally.
The LT200HPX comes with a CAT engine and direct v-belt crusher drive ensuring the best fuel efficiency. A direct drive for the crusher, with a purposely designed gearbox and hydraulic clutch, makes LT200HPX a highly reliable unit.
“Lokotrack LT200HPX’s 2-deck pre-screen allow it to achieve up to 30% higher capacity,” said Taylor. “The small feed can bypass the crusher and go straight to the product pile or further in the process, increasing overall output, decreasing wearing and enhancing product quality. It also enables easy changes in the process, from 0/32 mm to 0/16 mm.”
Optimum crushing results
Metso Outotec’s IC process control system optimises crushing results. The easy-to-use user interface enables single button start and stop and features in-built troubleshooting, as well as various parameter selections. All Lokotrack mobile crushers and screens in the same process can be linked with IC.
Furthermore, the whole process can be monitored and controlled conveniently from the excavator cabin with ICr remote control software, and an entire fleet with the Metso Outotec Metrics fleet management solution. With Metrics, you can monitor the operation of your machine remotely at any time and any place.
Safe and easy maintenance
Metso Outotec is investing heavily in its equipment safety and easy maintenance. In the LT200HPX, safe and easy daily operations are ensured with extensive services platforms as well as safe walkways on both sides of the unit that fold automatically for transporting in one piece.
For safe and easy maintenance, the main conveyor can be lowered down to ground level. As with all Lokotracks, LT200HPX is mounted on tracks and can be easily moved inside a quarry and transported between sites on a low bed truck.
Additional features and options
The wide main conveyor has a hydraulic height adjustment for combining with other machines. The LT200HPX is available with an extended main conveyor to allow more feeding height for downstream crushing and screening processes. An optional side conveyor can be added to transfer fine material to the stockpile beside the machine.
The LT200HPX can also be delivered with dust encapsulation, high-pressure water spraying system, bypass filters for hydraulic/lubrication oil, fuel pump with truck connection and many other improvements.
